Dawn is Steve Hemphill's wife, and we all owe her a great deal of gratitude for putting up with his nonsense. :P
Seriously, Dawn did a ton of work that was necessary for this tournament to work as well as it did. I don't know all of the things she did, other than keep Steve relatively sane, but I know that she sewed a great many of the outfits that were seen on the lyst field. Including the outfits on some of the horses.
She was also the Lady of Honour, who was in charge of watching the tournament and choosing which participant deserved to win the Award of Honour.
